Live Different, Part II

LIVE Different is to live a holy life before a Holy God. Our holiness comes only in and through Jesus Christ. We are positionally holy because of Jesus' holiness. When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, asking Him to forgive our sins, we receive the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit guides the believer and helps them to live separate from the world. God's Word tells us to be set apart. *2 Timothy 2:21 Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house, ready for every good work.*

Scripture References: Hebrews 12:2, Romans 1:25, Leviticus 20:26, Colossians 1:16, Numbers 23:19, 2 Corinthians 10:5, Isaiah 40:8, Romans 6:10-11, James 1:17, 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, Romans 2:15, Malachi 3:6, Romans 1:28-32, Genesis 1:27, Hebrews 13:8, Romans 8:1, Galatians 5:19-24

From Series: "Live Different"

We are to Live Different lives in the world. God calls us to be holy, because He is Holy. In Leviticus 20:26 it says... You shall be holy to me, for I the Lord am holy and have separated you from the people, that you should be mine.
