Pastor Scott Baker - December 12, 2021

Light! Seeing The Light!

To understand why Jesus' birth is such a big deal we must first understand why He had to come! Why did we need Light? The world needed light because the world was in darkness! People in the world that walk in darkness have seen Jesus' light. God is perfect and no one meet that standard. God gave us a gift, through Jesus He made a way for sinful man to become prefect by repentance of our sins. Romans 5:8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Jesus died for us.

Scripture References: Acts 9:6-22, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 1:15, 1 Corinthians 9:1, Acts 9:3-5, 2 Corinthians 4:6, 2 Corinthians 4:4, Acts 26:15-18, Acts 9:1-2

From Series: "Light! How the Birth of Jesus Changed the World!"

Instead of looking to God, those in darkness attempt to find hope in this world, but only find distress in darkness! Jesus came to be the Light of the world! Jesus came to save us!
